2 lbs thinly cut beef round steak, cut into strips and pound.
1 onion, chopped
4 TBSP. (half stick ) of butter
1-6 oz tomato paste, to taste
1 - 10.5 ounce beef consommé (not broth)
½ cup sherry
3 TBSP Galloping Garlic
4 TBSP Sour cream
Salt and pepper, to taste
Melt butter and lightly soften onions.
Brown beef on both sides, lightly.
Add tomato paste, consommé and sherry, GALLOPING GARLIC, salt and pepper.
Cover and cook on low about 45 minutes or until beef can be cut with a fork.
Remove from heat and add sour cream.
If mixture is not thick enough, add more sour cream a tablespoon at a time.
Return to heat just to warm through. Serve over rice or buttered noodles.
