Check out this Award winning Texas Chili recipe! Takes four hours to cook, and makes a great base that you can serve with a salad, rice, chips for a hearty and delicious weekday dinner! Beans can also be added if that is preferred.
Ingredients
2 lbs. boneless chuck (sub ground beef)
1 onion, chopped
4 garlic cloves, diced

6 tbsp. Grande Southwest
14.5 oz can chopped tomatoes
15oz can tomato sauce
Low-sodium chicken broth (to desired consistency)
grated cheddar/ pepperjack cheese
(Optional) 2-15oz cans of kidney beans (drained & rinsed)
Directions
Cut chuck into small cubes and brown
Saute onion and garlic cloves
Combine chuck, onion, garlic, Grande Southwst, chopped tomatoes, and tomato sauce in large pot or crock pot.
Add low-sodium chicken broth to desired consistency
Simmer uncovered for at least four hours, stirring often
(Optional) Add in 2-15oz cans of kidney beans (drained & rinsed), simmer for an additional 10-15 minutes
Serve as desired with grated cheese, chopped onions, beans, or pasta. Enjoy!
